Remus Uomo’s incoming spring/summer collection sees the brand’s sartorial offering further evolve from the hugely successful autumn/winter 2015 range.
Last season’s trending over-checks have become smaller and finer for the incoming season, while a focus on fabric structure and texture sees geometric shapes and pinpoint dot effects adding surface interest to the range. The brand’s trademark attention to detail is also apparent in the feature stitching and trimming on each tailored garment.
Sharp, structured suiting with Remus Uomo’s distinctive new waistcoat shape is presented in an array of on-trend colours from electric blue to the more reserved French navy, with accent colours and co-ordinating pieces in jewel tones such as this season’s trending colour, teal.
In casualwear, the brand’s tailoring heritage is apparent in the development of jackets with softer lines and a younger, more relaxed aesthetic.
A variety of weave patterns and fabrics with surface interest feature across formal and casual collections, allowing the style-savvy to build a distinctive look from anywhere in the collection. Elsewhere, fabrics include washed cotton, linen mixes and lightweight tweed in outerwear, complemented by the slubbed cotton, knitted jersey and melange yarn in the knitwear collection.
The addition of fine gauge knitted tees, polos and jersey sweatshirts, as well as washed cotton trousers and stylish shorts, are also sure to prove popular as temperatures climb.
Regularly featured in the pages of men’s style bibles such as GQ and Esquire, Remus Uomo is one of menswear’s most exciting brands and their Spring/Summer 2016 range, due to land in stores from February, marks one of their best collections to date.
