With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, the Old Spot’s Cocktail Maestro, Graham Teeling has shared his recipe for the ‘Basil Sour’ – the Old Spots’ unique take on a festively green and deliciously refreshing cocktail. With its exceptional flavour, distinctive colour and classic presentation, The Old Spot Basil Sour is sure to impress your guests this St. Patrick’s Day.

 

The Old Spot – Basil Sour Cocktail

Ingredients

·         35 ml Tanqueray Gin

·         35 ml St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

·         10 ml Sugar Syrup

·         5 ml Fresh Egg white

·         55 ml Fresh Lemon Juice

·         6 Basil leaves

 

Method

1.       Shake vigorously in a Boston shaker with ice.

2.       Strain through two sieves into a coupe glass.

3.       Finish with a sprig of basil.
